Hey man, your sketches are cool! I like the roughness in your lines, hatchings, colors. Everything looks a bit dirty and fits the dark theme very well, I am quite into these weird post-apocalyptic things. Keep up the good work.

Mirror's Edge is, in my opinion, one of the finest games created in the recent years. It's very unique and I think everyone should get a chance to play it. Even if you didn't like it, you'd be able to refund it on steam, but there is absolutely nothing that could stop me from recommending that beautiful game to everyone I meet.

I wouldn't say that being abstract means you can't draw. Someone made the battle backgrounds in EarthBound and the bizarre textures in Gankutsuou, after all!

yeah see them's is art; it wasn't that i was implying that abstract stuff isn't art - it was to contest callin' my stuff "abstract" as it doesn't take skill to scribble as i do xD that first one kinda reminded me of this and the second reminded me of one particular artist whose style looked vaguely graffiti-like (if you could even make it out through all of the noise) - i forget his name though :<

My graph pad is broken for months now, only thing I do now and then is improving my terrible Photoshop skills from time to time... maybe this christmas I'll buy a new one, haven't drawn in ages due to work. I miss hanging around in the afternoon, just chilling and drawing shit :/.

I'm kinda awful at drawing by hand but I did gave it a try a few times at doing something digitaly, the only decent things I found were this two isometric pixel art experiments I did last year, I never finished them tho (it was only something I did to keep me entertained during a week I had nothing to do at work).

Thank you! I know realism is the best way to really learn to draw something (and I do stare at my hands and pose in a mirror), but it's a lot easier to hide your flaws when you aren't trying to perfectly emulate life :V

It doesn't have to be amazing, just put your heart into it! Draw something you love, enjoy, or you think looks too absurd to not be preserved in art. It's too easy to be paralyzed by the feeling that your work isn't good enough, and that can keep us from trying in the first place. But you don't have to meet some arbitrary standard to make anything, and the more you do something, the better it will get! And it feels wonderful to look at a finished product and think "yeah, I made that." Because you accomplished something. So draw me something!
