A friend of mine has been contacted by a random Russian guy. The person introduced himself as an administrator in stopgaben.pw, a supposedly gambling site. He explained that he was hired as a designer there and that the owners forgot to remove his admin rights. The guy offered $400 in site credits, which he wanted to split. The money could supposedly be redeemed after depositing $10.

This was obviously a scam. The offer already sounded too good to be true, but on to of that, my friend would always win in lotteries with the credits "donated". We tried chatting through the website. We could see each other's messages, but every time we tried to talk/respond to someone else, we were just ignored.

I'm including pictures of the chat and website, should it change domain. Notice how the name at the top left doesn't match with the domain already. Names are censored, hence the Steamgifts rules and privacy. A steamrep.com report has already been submitted. This post is just to spread awareness. Finally, if you came here for the giveaway, here it is. Happy holidays.
