+1, i allways love nVidia, but recently my GPU was KIA and i need a replacement, but i dont have enough money and need to stay in u$s150-200 (more 150 than 200 =( ) and for the bechmark and reviews i see is clear that ATI offer better price/performance than nVidia at least in this segment.

Been using AMD Radeon R7 260x so far getting stable 60 fps all the time and always max out graphics at ultra on 1080p resolution
Got R7 260x a couple months ago it was on sale at a local electronic store for 84.99 dollars it also came with AMD Reward program that allowed me to choose from 2 free games from a list of like 40 games I chose Tomb Raider and Thief.

I had a problem with that reward program a while ago. My ol' brother bought a Radeon HD 7850 for our other pc, but when we tried to redeem our code, we got a horrible error. We contacted support, and they told us that our code was no longer reedemeable because of a change in the promo or something. Anyways...

Buy "R9 280 DUAL-X GDDR5 3GB 384Bit AMD Radeon DX11.2".
I don't like Nvidia at all. They offer %10 more performance for %50 expensive price.AMD is better in every case right now, Nvidia failed hard this year.

This year? Isn't that sorta how its been for years? Kinda why I avoided them after my last one a couple years ago...that and updating was a bitch compared to Nvidia.
Tired of the more money crap to, see my response to him, so different in price right :-D!

"They offer %10 more performance for %50 expensive price"
Can people stop now? Sure some Nvidia carda are more money but not 50% more, stop talking out your ass people.
IF ANYTHING AMD IS BETTER FOR BUDGET CARDS, This can also be argued, although for OP it does not matter, he is in the 300 dollar bracket. Both brands will give him similar performance.

This. Once in the past, I was an nvidia "fan", but now, I guess that ATI cards have a better cost/performance ratio. I'm planning to upgrade soon, so, what do you recommend? I have around u$s300 to spend in a graphics card. I've been doing my research, but I still haven't decided, so I wanted to hear your opinion. What would you recommend, and why? Which graphics card would you buy?
