I like exploration games, so I'm looking forward to No Man's Sky myself.

Yes, it looks promising and may become a rather new game experience

Me too. It sounds like a combination of whitelist with wishlist. I even thought it was intended. I certainly didn't mean to injure you :)

I've been watching the news on this for months now. It looks like it's going to be amazing. I like dynamically generated world games--stuff where you'll never see quite the same thing twice. This looks like it'll be the pinnacle (at least so far).
So, short answer, yes, very excited.

you guys are lucky, been following since E3 2014 XD

I do too been following it for more than a year since it's original announcement. Only problem with some dynamic games is that everything ends up looking the same. I'm hoping they manage to avoid that!

Yeah, the footage makes me think the game has at least a few very different worlds in it--there are four or five worlds with very different landscapes in there. But my hope is that it can generate enough content for hundreds of planets without things that feel like repeats. I wonder how the flora and fauna will be generated.

I'm more interested in Limit Theory but we'll see.

It does seem to be a bit hyped up, kind of how Elite was.

Forget the game, if I could get my hands on those algorithms, specifically the ones that generate the plant and animal life.

I'm excited by the idea, but they've promised a lot and i'm afraid they won't be able to deliver it.

The hype is going to destory it.
Although I am still excited to see this game, it really seems promising.

Eversince I've read a developer saying that it's multiplayer but the galaxy is so huge you will never find another player I've been wondering how long it will take people to teach him differently.

its a ps4 console exclusive, but releases with pc at the same time.

I hope it will be good, but I am worried that the world will be boring after a while. procedural generated worlds often have the problem of being repetitive and/or empty.

Pretty much, that's the issue with Elite Dangerous.
