How many times have you been scammed?

Never. A game I traded for got revoked once, but the tader gave me my stuff back.

Once, and only once because I was a complete dumbass and actually thought that people would give me money on paypal without even bothering to check Steamrep because I didn't know it existed.

And there goes a copy of Arma X.

At least I'm not stupid anymore, I guess we all have to learn somehow.

Scammed? Never. Attemted to be scammed, a few times.

Just one time.. after that time, I learnt the lesson. I lost a Prototype 2 key! :(

I got scammed once: Crysis 3 which I got from a voucher. I was selling them for somewhere between 8-10 keys atm (yes I had multiple).
I was pretty pissed but figured just to move on as I couldnt do anything about it.
That scammer scammed more people and I googled his profile a few months ago. Apparantly one of those who got scammed decided it was time for a little payback. He found his Facebook and Youtube account and posted a warning on youtube with one of his movies, real name and link to his Facebook. He got suspended here btw

I have never been scammed, probably because i don't really trade a lot ( mainly because i don't trust people on the internet a lot :D ), and when i trade i trade with people that have traded a LOT and have a lot of reputation.

Once should be enough for people to learn to check properly before trading...

Personally I've not had the misfortune of falling for a scam; I have only run in to a couple attempts. Scammers fortunately are low in numbers :)

i understand this too...bt i have a question....i hv a few boxed games i would be ready to trade...i gt a deal fr the precious amount i was aking but he rejected in the end saying my profile is not strong. m new to dis nd definately nt a scammer.. so how do i build a rep?
i dnt like playing ny game other dan rocksmith 2014...so i dnt add dem to my profile.. nd games in this region r cheap so i plan to trade dem fr sumthin i want fr rocksmith 2014 like its dlc's nd in return give away AAA titles at cheap buks.

Ive been scammed recently trough steam chat. It was a pitty… but my fault… beleived in Good will, but been disappointed…

Got scammed few times. Biggest loss was awp for csgo worth 10+$. Lately, I wanted to get new cases for dota2 yet Volvo made them exactly the same as the old ones. Gave 1k for 0.03$ worth item :)

I got scammed mostly because I'm busy doing something and I expect everyone to be fair so I dont doublecheck...

Also, 3 Humble bundles I bought from random ppl on ST was revoked so I had to do 2nd purchase on them or collect them 1 by 1 :)

I've never actually been scammed, though I don't trade nearly as much as most people. The few people that I didn't know beforehand that I have traded with have turned out to be awesome people, many of which I'm still friends with.

I must say, I have been very lucky during my time on Steam and I'm very grateful for it.

Once an india trader tried by giving away a copy of KF that I traded with him and then came back to me crying that apparently the game wasbt working and was trying to beg me for games ( it was from a steam trading group on fb)

Needless to say, he was blocked and put on a blacklist of people to avoid

Once, and only because I was an idiot and too eager to get a game and play it. Still, I only lost a copy of Fallout 3 GOTY. Also learned not to trust steamrep as much as it was suggested by many.

Also, when I started trading, I traded my copy of Don't starve (which was worth 5-6 keys back then) for two steam keys from bundles, had no experience back then. Not really a scam, but I was taken advantage of :)

Once. I was new to steam and I had no experience with it whatsoever so that guy scammed a few tf2 items from me and even tried to hack my account but he failed :D

I don´t trade with persons i don´t know so i never had been scammed

Once one stupid kid tried to scam me {me:trading bioshock 2 and battlefield bad company 2--- for call of duty black ops 2}.I checked his inventory and he had not the game.So i asked him politely and he said he will connect with the other account and will send me the copy and do the trade.Guess what...he never returned also i tried to search him to report him but i couldn't find him.I hate scammers A LOT more than hackers...
