Nah, I pre-order very few games (Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, Blur, MGSVTPP, NMS, Borderlands 2 only so far) and have loved each one. I am not the kind who preorders everything, only what I feel I will love after a ton of looking stuff up. I am ok taking the risk, especially if it is something I believe in. I do appreciate your advice, but I can assure you that I am careful. I loved Borderlands 2, but did not pre-order the PreSequel because of how uneasy the idea of doing so made me. Glad I didn't. Decent game but also not one I would have been happy about pre-ordering.

Haha my stomach is still all rumbly from the "oh so terrible" news, but I think I will do what you said. I honestly think it is a mix of not having the midnight release and also still having to wait 4 more days. I am impatient with this but I will get over it by the end of today :)

Hi there,
I never really pre-ordered too many games and so I also never really went to many midnight-releases. That, said, I found it great being able to play a game that early when I did. This thought I am about to get into first popped into my head when I had to wait until almost 7pm to play one of the Borderlands 2 DLCs, then again when I digitally pre-ordered a game on PSN, maybe MGSV:TPP, where I had to wait until around 2pm to play. The most recent, is now knowing my local GameStop will not be having a midnight-release of No Man's Sky.
Considering those things, wouldn't it be better to kind of even things out some? I know you can get your physical game on midnight, sometimes you can't, and sometimes you cannot play until later on release day if you pre-order digitally. I find it kind of unfair. I think this post may just be stupid and be about me venting, since I had made plans around that with my younger sister and I wasn't able to find this out until now. Sorry guys, I am just really bummed. At the same time though, another GameStop down the road is having one, and I could easily cancel at mine and re-pre-order at the one having the midnight-release, but then I realized because of how PSN works, I might want to wait anyways for whenever the hell they decide to release the patch. Also, I hate day 1 patches, but I don't care to complain about that. I am also trying to keep a more level-headed mentality of "well it would be unfair of me when others cannot play as early" to make me feel better. Still though.....just ugh >_<
Ok, I am done whining now. :p
