I love the Gwent in TW3 but haven't tried the standalone game. Is it the same or does it play differently?

It is a lot more complex, but I'd wager that if you liked the minigame in W3 you'll also like the standalone.

I don't know for sure, but due to the ties of GOG and CD Project Red I think it might remain an GOG-exlusive title.

so? EA published Dragon Age origins on Steam, but any subsequent titles are only on Origin.

Just because the published one doesn't mean they'll all be there. Also, It makes sense for them to not publish it on Steam as they are making money from gwent with card packs, etc. (Micro-transactions (They don't effect gameplay much tho)) and if they published on Steam, Valve would take 15% (Or more? I don't remember) of the money.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it was gonna be a GOG exclusive :( And I was in the beta, so I probably would have heard something if it was gonna be released on Steam.
