Sakurasou No Pet Na Kanojo - Don't let the title put you off, this show is fantastic, it's probably my favorite anime series actually. I recommend watching past the first episode before you decide what you think, since like a lot of shows, the first episode is basically just introductions and build up to the real story.

The first 6 episodes of Samurai Flamenco - This show started as what was basically an anime version of Kick-Ass. I recommend stopping at episode 6 though, the show completely changes after that, and it's a gigantic disappointment.

Detroit Metal City - This show is insane, watching the whole show will only take about 2.5 hours of your time, and it's some of the craziest comedy I've ever seen, highly recommended if you want to see a truly bizarre show.

One Piece - If you're going to watch a shounen, you might as well watch one of the craziest ones ever. Also, who doesn't love pirates?

i recently watched another pretty much one of the best animes i watched

Jojo's bizarre adventure, the series that started in 2012. Pretty faithful adaption of the first 2 arcs at the manga, except with the much improved art style from the later manga arcs. 3rd season should start soon, and is based on the Stardust Crusaders arc, probably the best known of the series as it's where the Stands get introduced that drive the series from then on.

I haven't watched much anime but Clannad + After Story are great.

My favorite anime is Pokemon.

Macross, Macross Do you remember love?, Maison Ikokku, Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Ranma 1/2, Martian Sucessor Nadesico, Cpt. Harlock, Clannad, Death Note, Touch! (Bateadores en español), are some of my favourite animes, i'm a fan of Mecha animes and romance comedies :D

EDIT: Make sure the original The Irresponsible Captain Tylor with its 26 episodes. Only watch The Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA if you love the original series because it's much slower and harder to watch.
