They did: USD 40/ EUR 30.
Considering the owner count is above 900k, I think they safely assumed that whoever could and wanted it to get at full price already did, so they are moving to the next range. A welcomed business approach.

I wonder if publishers can still change pack a bit and release as new to get around that. Gaijin-something used to do this I think.

Pretty sure it is. I remember several cases where devs or publishers did they. At least a half or a whole year ago.

I don't think there is any way to tell. But the price drop has been significant. The price is now in line with regional pricing ie equivalent to 20$ value. And all other games of Konami still have direct Dollar to Rs conversion price.

If it's permanent price drop then during summer sale it might even drop further.
If it's a price glitch then it would probably get a discount during sales anyway..

I am actually being facetious. I can buy it from a 3rd party site myself at the USD price and activate it on my account. I'd rather have been able to get a regional discount though.
