I'm in! :) I want to play this game it but I have to honestly warn you I won't give it a try right away (because backlog). Unless my nephew will play it during winter holidays :)
Btw, nobody has anything interesting to trade or did you not even try?

Count me in and thank you for the chance! You are awesome!

Oh if ONLY I had something for trade. I'd KILL to play Inquisition.

um Origin Access? €3.99 a month. Dragon Age Inquisition is one of the games available to download & play through it. I think it's just the regular version at the minute, though looking at other games they might change it to goty/premium edition at some point like they've done with other games. You can cancel the subscription at any point, so even if it takes you 1-2 months to finish the game it's still cheaper than paying full RRP for it, though you can only download/play it as long as your subscription is active. Cheaper than Netflix at least. :)

it says you can cancel & resubscribe at any time you like. So if you've played all they have to offer or all that you want to play then cancel your subscription. FAQ mentions something about being able to resume where you left off if you resubscribe, so I'm assuming it's referring to the cloud save system providing you keep it enabled.
Only thing I'm really looking forward to is Mass Effect Andromeda, but I bet it will be an age before that gets added to origin access, so I might buy that at some point if there's anywhere that has a nice discount on it & providing I have the money to spare - of course.

Mirrors Edge Catalyst got added recently I think and that one is not even a year old (I think, I honestly don't remember when it came out), so there is a chance for it not to take too long.

Yes, it's on Access. I played through it last weekend. :)
They added Star Wars Battlefront a few days ago, but it's a 40GB download, which would take me a couple days to download on my DSL connection & I've only got about 50GB space left on my SSD. Really need to sort out a storage hdd at some point...

Yeah it's not that expensive on sale, it is a good game though and definitely worth picking up from GMG or origin when you have the money.

Well I do have a huge bunny that's very greedy, so this deal does sound tempting.

You could trade it on Barter.vg, but origin games tend to have a lower trade value than steam games, so it'd be more in your favor to trade it for other origin (or gog) games. (Uplay and itch.io games have basically no trade value, so those are easy to trade in bulk for.)
The game is pretty high profile, and as far as I know unbundled, so that should work heavily in your favor, however (likewise for listing it on SteamTrades).

Are there any sites that host giveaways/raffles for origin/uplay games similar to those that exist for steam games?

I wish Origin and Uplay games were easier to find.

Yeah I think people have a negative reaction to origin because it's run by EA basically. But unfortunately they do make some great games and it's impossible to play them without origin. So it's a pity that you can't do giveaways for them, as it would be great to see BF1 and Mirrors edge on here.

Mirror's Edge was quite nice (both of them) but the bright colors - especially the blinding whites gave me headache after short play sessions.
P.S: you can get some cheap deals on both origin & uplay games via opium pulses. I don't know how legit their store is but it's a nice place for a bargain & I've not had any problems with any products I've ordered from them yet. Quick note: I believe they are based in UK.

Haha yeah I hear you on the colours! I turned the brightness right down.
Thanks for the heads up on opium pulses, those are some good prices and certainly explain some of the giveaways I've seen on here.

I've never had a problem with Opium Pulses, myself.

If you have any unbundled games I'd be interested definitely. Add me on steam if you'd like to discuss.

Can i give it away on here? No? Damnit... that was so tempting otherwise... :-D

You could make a private giveaway of a cheapest game on a forum, noting that this giveaway actually includes Inquisition so that people who are interested in Inquisition will enter and win both games, maybe you could use some requirements you want and include sgtools checks...

I thought of that, but the problem is people not be able to enter if they already own the game. Maybe if I just gathered a list of names on this topic and used a random selector to pick the name out of the list it would be better.

Fine, you've won me over with your logical and sound argument. Just reply to the first comment to enter.

I'm in or something.
If I win I'll honor my first born with your name, Yobakkie.

So I have an origin key for Dragon Age Inquisition that I have no use for. I can't give it away on this site obviously, but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. Ultimately I wanted to do a giveaway with the results, it doesn't have to be of that game, so I thought I could trade it on steamtrades for something I could giveaway but interest for origin games on there seems very low and those that were looking for dragon age inquisition seem to be dormant members. So what do the wise people of steam gifts suggest?
EDIT: Ok so I think I'll just raffle this off. To enter just reply to the first comment with "I'm in" or something like that and after a few hours I'll come in and gather the names together and then pull one out of a virtual hat.
EDIT 2 : OK I'm closing this early as I have places to be... I'll gather the names now and draw later.
EDIT 3: Dingding we have a winner. For the purposes of transparency what I did was to copy the full thread at the time it closed and then make a list of all those who entered. This was then put into a random internet picker and from that it drew the name, Gearmos. I'll add them on steam and pass on the prize. Thanks to everyone who was interested, commiserations to the losers. If it's any consolation, the space cat hates me too, apparently I'm down 2 gifts from that foul feline.
