If you enjoy CoD, then go for it, but it's the same as its predecessors, and there are likely far more enjoyable games available for the same price.

If you like fps go for it..amazing graphics and gameplay..still not something most people will play all the time.

If you want another CoD then yes. I am playing the free weekend "again" only because I do not want to waste any money on it. If anything ill get Blops2 because the clan i used to play with loves that game. I should also note the only reason im playing MW3 is because I am currently banned from all EA games(thanks to stupid @$$ EA and their "One ban to rule them all" policy) because of some Battlelog rage. Not the first or last time I am sure.

PC gaming has far better FPS games imo, but they are mostly older games and may feel outdated for some. But if you like the modern FPS genre, sure
