I would go with Scrap Mechanic or Hurtworld, but both are on Early Access... :|

I don't own any of the games in your wishlist, so I can't really recommend one personally, but if you liked rust, I guess Hurtworld would be a good option.

Elite Dangerous. How do you only have 16 games on there? It's a wishlist and there's brazillions of games on Steam. Not a I-don't-want-to-seem-needy list.

Kerbal Space Program FTW!

The only one on your wishlist that I own is Mean Greens, and while it isn't without its flaws (last I checked, the kick feature was idiotic to the point of being useless), it's still a terrifically fun game. Bring some friends :)

How much money have you got to spend? That's honestly the most important question at this stage. Also, what's your pc like? I wouldn't necessarily recommend anything from your wishlist, but maybe I can recommend something else. ^^

Personally looking forward to No Man Sky's, but I also personally wouldn't want to buy it as soon as it releases.

Empyrion - Galactic Survival is a great game. Just bought it myself a couple of days ago and I already can't stop playing it. It's just amazing.

Elite Dangerous is on sale and looks great (seen it streamed many times).

Subnautica I own and play, and that's a wonderful & fun game (also on sale). The devs are extremely active and always adding new content. :)
It's a lot of exploring and base-building, but as it's done on an alien world and underwater, it's a relatively new spin on the survival genre.

Since you seem to be one of the many "mostly play online PvP" people, Hurtworld. Should be right up your alley but give enough new things (survival focus) to keep you interested.

One quality game I like to recommend to people who like "action" is the arpg Path of Exile. 100% free to play and not play to win.
If you decide to install it, get on the forums and decide if you want to install through your steam account or not.
PoE can be as passive or as complicated/strategic as you want it to be, has pvp, mp and sp.
