I won nothing in my latest ~4000 entries. try to catch up now.

It's quite the contrary. If you had won something already then you would have been very lucky to do so.

1. Make a game that teaches basic statistics
2. Get game on Steam
3. Set the base price high, but have frequent 95% off sales, so people will buy it to give away on this site
4. Create Steam trading cards for the game so people will actually play it
5. Never have to see another one of these threads again
6. Profit!

I won one within an hour of joining. I am yet to win a second.

i entered over 1200 before i won my first and won my second before 1500 entries, it's literally all about luck... don't complain

To the topic: sum 1/(number of entries) of all giveaways you entered. This is roughly the numer of games you should have won if you are neither lucky or unlucky. This value is called "expected value". More reading here. Other keywords to check are probability and statistics.

it's all about luck. I haven't won till my 1000th try. And I was really enjoying my streak, then won 2 gifts in 2 days in a row :P
