They are still in rotation, I was offered Arma 3 for a wee lil game yesterday xD

Good looking out. Makes me wonder about the multiple Arma giveaways open right now.

Permalink

Worst case scenario is that the winner will lose the keys and the person who made the giveaway will have it marked as not received.

Can't scammers do this with call of duty?
The world seems to be very unfair after all, seeing as the devil walks free and bohemia gets punished like this.

They can, but, idk,Arma seems to be popular.

How long ago did this happen? Makes me a little paranoid about some of the giveaways currently active on this site lol. Doubt I would win any of them but the possibility of loosing my account scares me to be honest.

As for the beginning,I guess it started July onwards, and steamrolled onto a bigger scam 2 weeks earlier.

I will talk to support, they have to delete any current arma GAs, seeing as SteamTrades is their page and they say to absolutely not trade any arma at all, it would make sense to delete current GAs. There is a couple of new users that have Arma GAs open after all

Hmm crap i got a copy of arma 2 cCO from a trade about 3 days ago... fudge.

Or is this only concerning keys?

Its scary that people stoop to the level of even scamming, when they can afford shit themselves.Maybe use some illegal way to get their wanted stuff, instead of stealing away hard earned money

"DONT TRADE FOR ANY ARMA 2 OR 3 AT THE MOMENT!" even gifts?

No cdkeys only, unless it's ARMA: Cold War Assault as it can come from an ARMA 3 deluxe activation.

Permalink

Whats to stop them from BUYING Arma's at Steam? That is why NO ARMA for you

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Don't panic. That is the same as not trading for any game.

Steam has better protection against stolen credit cards or any exploits than a game developer web store. Also, real steam users who buy using their stolen credit cards risk to lose their account, unlike buying cdkeys from a third-party site.

If I'm not wrong, if you use a new credit card in Steam you won't even able to trade the gift for 1 week or so.

I think you're right about that limit. When I got my rebate card in, I had to wait a while until I could trade anything.
