"tl;dr Keys were bought on STOLEN/INVALID Credit Cards, your account may be banned, or the game simply removed. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND"

Wrong. Steam does not ban for exploited games, they simply remove it, as they have no idea where a game came from.

Also, anyone who did get scammed, politely push for your game back if it was a steam gift and traded through the trade window. They will do it a lot of the time.

Wrong, they do ban me for this.

Then for some reason this is the exception to the rule. Every other time a key is exploited or a game chargebacked, they do not ban your account because they have no way of knowing who actually broke the law. If they're banning accounts, something more is going on.

Back in 2007 i think, they do unban me after 3 days tho. I talk with support, they told me that was because game was purchased with stolen CC.

Seeing how SG still didn't make sticky "why my CV doesn't rise over $30" I'm guessing that either this forum can has only one sticky, or ability to make stickies broke sometimes after cg stickied FAQ thread.

Games that have found to be purchased with a stolen CC are simply removed from accounts. Accounts don't get banned for it, and if they have, it was probably because all the games were fraudulently purchased, not just one.

Also, from reading this, my understanding is that ONE person made some fraudulent purchase for some Arma keys. How many the bought, we don't know. Could have been 5, could have been 500. Now all of a sudden some people are on a witch hunt questioning every person who gives/trades Arma. Blown out of proportion IMO.

Im just going to quote something than they posted in steamtrades by

"Genkisan (+79/-0) (1 week ago*)"
"First off. We don't want flaming on SteamTrades. Spamming comments and bumps over and over directed towards the reply on the scammer's comment does not help. The main topic of warning is sufficient enough with the links and information you provided about the original scammer.

Also, claiming other persons you have listed to be part of such scam, you will need to provide more proof on each individual person's/profile scam before actually naming such person/profile, or such report simply becomes "hearsay" and again may start flaming in the thread, throughout SteamTrades and/or may be directed towards the person's/profile on Steam which you mentioned. I mention this because if flaming does occur on their profile they have right to report you on Steam by revealing this Thread through a Steam Ticket and file a complaint claiming harassment from you and intentionally causing other members to to harass them as well. Such action can immediately lead to your Steam account being Steam Community banned or even a Suspended Steam account. Please refer to the Steam Online Conduct TOS, which is not limited to actions taken through Steam only.
Steam Online Conduct
Suspended Steam Account

It's not worth it. I'm just trying to save your from this. :) Just stick to the original Scammer as Valve has already initiated an investigation on that account.

Have a good day. :)"

Think and do what you want. But You are making a mistake. If you called the police already you don't need to go in a wich hunt with other people, let the police do their work.
