Just a little remark: considering that there's a limit on how many activations we can attempt per hour, it would be nice if the command that lists all IDs had those IDs in the order where they've been added (+/- 1 command per day), so that it's easy to resume adding licenses without adding the whole list every time (which will become impossible once the limit of 50 is reached). But maybe they're already in order and I didn't notice?

I wanted to discuss one thing: Dark Matter, Glare1more and TRAPPED had a Commercial License (Monthly) license in their subids (for example https://steamdb.info/sub/326826/history/) and had billingtype of Free on Demand (12), which was later fixed to Recurring Option (9) and that granted us +1 and Trading Cards. But these new subids we find are not Commercial Licenses, they are just usual Free on Demand subids. I think there is probability that devs would just delete this free subids of their games and we won't get neither +1 nor cards. There is a small chance that dev will make this subid paid in my opinion.
What do you think?

Envoy 2 wasn't under Commercial License (Monthly) and we got +1 and cards. Same to the other games that gave to us +1

hi, I follow the same line of reasoning as grimm and hitman, games that can be acquired directly by steam that give +1 or cards to account, only some are wrong because at the time they were +1, I took them from the list

You made a mistake. Free games can have cards, but they won't drop it unless you spend money on it. Grimm, Hitman and The Descendant are exceptions because they're free and you don't need to spend nothing to drop the cards.

Edited (I've checked all on my 2nd account): "The Desolate Hope", "Get Off My Lawn", "Heroine's Quest" and "Realities" do not add +1; the rest does. So I also doubt, if "Heroine's Quest" still drops the cards, but I have not checked.
By activating any(?) of the free DLCs for the "Realities" you can make it to permanently show on your games list, but it still does not add +1.
Edit 2: They have also fixed card drops from AX:EL. Now it still shows at Badges, but "0 of 6 cards collected" and "No card drops remaining" (and no drop in 3.4h). I'm also sure, though, that it still adds +1, as I previously stated.

This isnt exactly the same.
The games that steam gives for free now (limited free giveaways) are given away under new conditions. Before they made the game as a no cost license.
Now they put the game under a new sub id and changes the condition to have card drops disabled.
The games that are posted here are games that have been put up wrong by the dev or by valve. Its commercial licenses that should have had license as "Recurring " but it was free on demand. Which ment anyone could add it if they new what they were doing. And when dev fixed the license to correct one it added to library as full games for those who had the license.

It matters how they add it.
Before when they made limited giveaways they added a new subid for the game that had no cost as billing type, pretty much the same as store licence but free.
Now they make a subid with extra additional stuff that says disabletradingcards and freepromotion. Under licensepage in steam it doesnt just says the steam name like it does if you have added a key. It says for example "Steam name Limited Free Promotional Package - Month Year" so you know its from a limited promotional giveaway.
What is posted in this thread isnt steam giveaways. It is suppose to be commercial licenses. The problem is that the billing type is set to free on demand. This is the same as when a game is free 2 play. You are not suppose to be able to add this as a normal user so when the dev has been made aware that its wrong type they change it to either cd key or recurring. And when that changes its not "free" anymore and its added to your library.
Like you said free games dont drop when they are free and then drops when they are not, is not true. I think you are refering to sins of solar and Geneshift that had temorary disabled card drops during the christmas sale. Before they disabled they dropped for everyone when license was added.
But now when they have changed it to like I said. Im pretty sure the game will never drop cards because it is a no cost license. But under the subid its configured as promotional and disabled cards like I said.

What you where refering to was when steam made a limited time giveaway. (they have stated it wont drop cards anymore) I mentioned that before when steam made limited time giveaway it was pretty much the same license as if you bought the game. I went into detail that now they have completely changed it After the promotion is over the license will still be with card drop disabled because it is "limited time promotion". Which is something new steam started so that there wont be thousands of idlers during these free game promotions.
Then I mentioned games posted here are ment to be commercial licenses with reccuring as billing type. But just because they have been added wrong they are "free on demand" which means anyone can add it if they know how. Its pretty much the same as if it was free 2 play. And when the dev changes it to reccuring it will be +1 as if you bought the full game. (They wherent ment to be free from the beginning)
So to summarize, steams limited giveaways will probably never drop cards in this "new system". The commercial license exploit posted here is not the same as steams limited giveaways. They are just added wrong.

Guess I haven’t noticed the new behavior, as far as I remember sos and geneshift were not the last ones that were free and dropped cards and to be honest I don’t remember if I already had a game with the card drops blocked...

I really appreciate your work, but could you please stop sorting games alphabetically and just add new games to the end of list? Because it's hard to remember which games I already added, NEW! mark does not help - because it's in no way synced with user adding games to account ( I may both miss the game while it's new to the list and already add it while it still shown as new), date does not help too - games can be added multiple times during one day, and even RaChart does not help, because some game are not shown on account until they're bugged.
For now I just add the whole list with the command you provide, but it's also not the best solution - it takes a lot of time yo execute (and it gets longer as the list grows), and I'm concerned that it hammering steam servers too much without need, and Valve may consider this a DoS attack with all ppssible consequences.
If you'll just add new games to the end of list - it will be enough to remember last game I added and next time just add entries below that title.

That's a pretty scary thought. Also once had backgrounds dissapearing from my inventory... poof on Valve's whim but the developer atleast convinced them to restore all deleted items (some some people bought for tens of dollars). It's scary though how much can go missing without even a shred of info to the user... and who manually keeps track of their entire inventory and games library?

Do you know any free game on Steam Store that drop cards? Or any paid game that you currently gets for free? As far as I know, Grimm, HITMAN™ 2 and The Descendant provide us these free card drops, while Glare1more is a paid game that you could get for free through some ways. If you know any other game that fits these conditions, feel free to share. I will update the list if there's more games.
Tip: Even if the game doesn't give you a +1 on your library or drop cards, get it! When the dev fix the problem, it will start to drop cards (if the game has it) and count +1 on library. The games Dark Matter, Glare1more and TRAPPED are a proof ot that.
