I have both WoL and HotS (and played both on the ladder for quite some time), Diablo 3 and the WoW up till the battlechest thingy (though that was given to everyone who got D3 afaik) but I never ever got any beta I signed up for :3 just have to be lucky I guess.

well bigger gaming sites gave away some keys but apparently theyre not allowed to anymore for whatever reason, so the only chance to get a key is trough opt in. or you spend 300 bucks.
it isnt as hopeless as it used to be though, theyre now giving away more keys than before

I got in three days ago (EU beta).
I was surprised... Of all betas I've anticipated from Blizzard this one I couldn't care less about, and now, finally, after 10 years of continued service they pick me for this beta, while they snubbed me for all WoW/D3/SC2 betas
Not complaining, it's actually pretty fun, but I would've rather passed for a greater chance on the next WoW xpack beta.
