It's not quite as bad as saying "I pick my nose and eat it", but it wasn't exactly a normal way for the conversation to flow. Besides, I didn't find this particular person interesting anyway.
Still, once I was making out in bed, clearly about to have sex, when a tongue went up my nostril. Upon asking what the hell was going on, the reply was "my tongue has been in much worse places than that".
I've never gotten out the door that fast (don't think I was fully dressed or anything)

As soon as you're in proper age for doing it, but don't manage to do it in a couple of years after that even, it's either that you're asexual which is weird, or have no options, meaning people find you too weird to do it. Sex is a natural part of life, and if a person is not engaging it for whatever reason, that's pretty weird. Not trying to insult anyone though, it's completely OK to be weird, and it's not even bad in any way, but at least I'd expect them to admit that it's weird, instead of suggesting that it's completely everyday thing to die a virgin.
P.S. staying virgin for religious causes is a whole new level of weird, only a little less weird than letting your kid die because your religion doesn't allow blood transfusions.

meh. I recall having a friend who just wanted to save himself for marriage - but wasn't religious in any way shape or form.
Know someone else who just wasn't all that interested, and another who wanted to fall in love first.

I think by weird you mean socially awkward, right? Then, it varies a lot between different cultures, even with big discrepancies microscopically.
I'd say that being weird is a gift, and you should never trade your values, your personal beliefs and choices, over any kind of social oppression or shame of being considered weird.
For me, that's what's really weird: losing virginity (or anything else) just to stop being considered weird by others.
Just shield yourself from external judgements, and be true to yourself. Stick to that, and I can assure it'll get easier, and eventually you'll find your inner peace, and noone will be able to take that from you.

No age. Virginity shouldn't be something that you should aim to lose anyway, it isn't a race for the prize despite what all those horny teen movies say. And if you simply don't want to have sex then that doesn't make you any less.... I don't really know what people think sex does that is so magical? :p It's a bit of letdown. The weird part only comes from people being obsessed to know and even treating some people differently because they haven't had sex.

From what I've read, here in Sweden roughly 50% will lose their virginity before the age of 20. A lot of people will claim to have lost it earlier, but people are not always honest about these things...

I'm a 26 years old virgin and I don't care since I already accepted the fact that I will die this way. It's not that I try to keep it, more like I don't try to lose it. I'm not handsome or rich and I'm generally a boring person, there is not a single thing a girl would like about me and it would take years to change. I rather gave up.
Too bad society cares and judges you because of your virginity. And if you don't tell them they will eventually think you are gay because they never see you with a girl. Unfortunately I simply can't ignore what others think about me.

Your grammar and sentence structure look good to me, especially since it's not your first language, therefore I suspect your intelligence is above average, therefore you could play on that, go for women who look for intelligent nerdboys.

People with little experience (and who retain this lack of experience for a long time) tend to have a very idealized view of how their first time should be, and more importantly, what the person they'll do it with will look like. They won't settle with anything that's not "perfect", and their view on what's "perfect" tends to be very looks-fixated. Combine this with nerd culture not exactly having the healthiest view on women in many cases (this is where you get the bimbo-hunting, people expect them to be "easy" because they are traditionally good looking and don't mind getting drunk at parties), and you've got a recipe for long term virginity.
