The lower right part is a case indication, which is a hint, but is not needed to solve the puzzle. - This one gave you some trouble. The tricky part was realising that one of the numbers can be zero. Start by figuring that j is 1 (3rd and 4th column from the right). Then analise the 1st column from the right by trial and error, to figure out that C can't be 5, 4, 3 and 2, so C has to be 0. From this point the rest is getting much easier. In the end C=0, j=1, E=2, a=3, R=4, z=5. Last thing to do is substitute the numbers from the solution into corresponding letters:

What is this whole event about? Nonograms, duh! So when I ask for mother's name, I want the founder and creator of nonograms. Wikipedia states that in 1987, Non Ishida, a Japanese graphics editor, won a competition in Tokyo by designing grid pictures using skyscraper lights that were turned on or off. This was probably the first nonogram ever. You can find out a bit more here.

Nonograms are back! Didn't have time to post puzzles lately, but now I'm ready to make up for it.
There are 6 stages, each consisting of two puzzles: A - a classic nonogram to solve, B - another nonogram that is a puzzle itself, there's some ciphers and encryption involved. No maths though :) Each A-part leads to a giveaway with B-part and to another stage. Each B-part will lead you to a giveaway with a partial code for the final stage.
