We can expect more games to have the phone requirement over the next little while, they seem to be testing it right now, but it's planned to be a requirement for all future high value giveaways.

That would really suck, if it would be to avoid abuse but not like you can abuse getting to level 20-30.

Yah, I tried to get answers as to why it's being done, if it was to protect giveaways from multi account users or what, but... All I got told is what I said previously. Does suck since I'm not big on cellphones and only keep them active if needed for work, but if they're not needed for work, I just let them go, no point wasting money on something I'm not using, so as a result, I will miss out on giveaways at times.

Yeah i am not a big cellphone user either, although just to go with the rest of the people., i did get a 250 euro one, but i rarely use it. Even then it doesn't feel comfortable as it just really seems they want to collect numbers probably for shadier purposes.
