How do you find the live chat? I had a similar issue where the transaction wouldn't complete, and now I can't find how to talk to them.

Ah, man. This isn't going well. I'm in chat with support now, and they actually told me to uninstall Origin and re-install it to "fix" the problem!!! Geez...

that is one weird guy. I don't mean in regards to the way he helped you but his way of speaking. "homeslice" "brodio"... O.o Who talks like that?
Carlito kinda puzzled me too. He asks if he can call you by your first name to use it once in a sentence that didn't necessarily need your name then transfers you.
And I don't know why but I always find it weird when people use "lol" in a "business" conversation. The first time I ever saw that was when my representative from BBTV used "lol" in a conversation with me. It's not like I get offended or anything; it just a bit weird.

kinda wierd, employees at customer service should not allowed to use slang or internet language. But origin support always does two things: telling you to uninstall origin and install it again, and transferring you to another so called tech specialist who will tell you to uninstall origin and install it again.

For those who are saying that a customer service rep shouldn't be allowed to use stuff like lol, requirements are actually often different for chat reps. A company that has a chat based support also knows that many customers think chat reps are just robots. Stuff like a little bit of common internet lingo or a smiley makes us seem more human. Each company has different requirements, of course, but a lot of things are common across all companies.
The company I do support with does allow it, but within reason. We are expected to have good grammar and if using things like that it should be properly and sparingly used, and normally it is if the customer uses it first. Chat actually tends to have a lot more requirements when it comes to things we can say, because it can so easily be saved and posted all over the place.

Pick up all the Origin deals you can when they're cheap. EA will -someday- get their ass in gear and compete with Steam on a service level. Once that happens, those sales will be of benefit. There are also plenty of offline patches that will get your game going without Origin. As long as the game saves offline, that is.

Origin showed the Weekly Mystery Deal #7 and I clicked on it and to my shock...one of the best deals ever...:o
I went to pay for it, realized I didn't have any more money in my paypal anymore, so I canceled the transaction. To my shock, the deal was taken out of my cart! I clicked on the link again but to my displeasure...the deal was back at full price.
So I contacted Origin live chat and they were awesome! :O
