Since someone would do it, I might as well be the one who points this out from the site's Guidelines:

When posting links or content, that content should not force users, encourage users through reward, or primarily exist as a traffic source for users to perform an action for promotional, commercial, or monetary benefit.

Simply put and translated to this situation: you can use any reason to add anyone to your whitelist or blacklist, but don't make people do anything to earn a spot there.
Luckily, this rule's enforcement is… rather lax, but still, you have to be aware of its existence.

If you want to find a loophole, you can share your artwork and encourage people to comment on it, without dangling a giveaway as a carrot in front of their noses. If someone comments, you can still reward them with a whitelist.

Regardless of the whitelist thing, I think it's a cool animation and it suits your profile. I use Enhanced Steam so I don't know if normal steam users can see it though.
