I've had speeds as low as 2 bytes/s.

Moved to Ukraine, started getting 2.4Mb/s.

Change your downloaf region in the settings, restart Steam if necessary, problem solved.

thats my normal speed,... it sucks living in the sticks, theres no high speed services

May I suggest moving to a faster country, say Korea? I hear Starcraft 2 can be downloaded in an hour there. In fact, they intend to make 1GB/sec internet available to households.

Dude i minimize my screen and it says something like 1mb a sec sometimes even 4mb a sec for peak download and then i check it and its on like 500kbs.. dafuq

33.3 MB/s is my record ^^
