I had 50G planted tank with dwarf cichlids in it for about 2 years. There were lot of change over the year with landscaping and changing the plants, before I had the Dwarf Cichlids in there, the tank was infested with Cherry Shrimps.

Can You tell me the names of the plants You got there? Especially those that are climbing up :P

I think the that is climbing up is call Hydrotriche hottoniiflora(all the plants and their crazy Scientistic name)

You could start off with Anubias plants since they don't require much lights. Some of the other plants require very hi lighting which can be very expensive

I have already Java fern, Cabomba (but didn't survive goldfish, so i moved her to a different tank), Egeria crispa, Amazon swords, Ludwigia repens, christmas moss and some moss balls... I want to get something nice where guppies can hide and etc. :P

yeah most plants don't go with goldfish, they are food for the fishy

As long as is not fish cake :) My friend just got into fishy a few months back, he's doing cichlids. But his addiction is already at the upgrade point. Now we going to start building a custom tank in his basement

I started with a 50G by the time I was done, I had 5 ranging from 25G-125G tanks to throw out. I would of continued with the hobby if I had the room for it.

I'm trying to find new friends who love fish and have fish tanks.
I'm about to add guppies into my 2nd aquarium tomorrow.
SOOOO HAPPY. But I'm sad that lady guppies are so grey, and male are so colourful!!!
So I will probably get 3 female and 1 male to breed them too.
I also have a gold fish tank 8 of them, in a really big one.
Have You ever saw a black goldfish?
Yeah I did I actually have 2 of them in my fish tank, but those are a mix with koi, I suppose.
