These rumours are old as fuck. Valve confirmed themselves that THEY'RE NOT MAKING A CONSOLE, what they're developing is just the Big Picture mode, which will let you play Steam games on a TV easily, or something like that.

Really old news...It might of been true at the start, till they realized how no one would care for their console.

I can see steam moving into the game streaming market one day, but thisnt isn't it.

This stuff is so old. They have said that it is just for testing their games on different hardware, I doubt that it will ever be turned into a console.
