F1 is cheaper due to ownership of F1 2019 or 2020 like it was explained in this discussion as well as it happens with other EA games such as fifa if you own the previous fifa game.
I remember in some sites people telling to purchase the previuos one, then purchase the latest for discount and asking for a refund of the old one just for the discount. I'm not a big fan of this method but it seems that some pleople are.
