If you don't intend to play a game anytime soon, there's no reason to buy it, as its value will obviously drop even more, that's pretty much common sense. This especially applies to recent games, prices on relatively new PC games drop very quickly.

I haven't played half of my games. I've started around 3 games and I want to finish those before I play any news ones but usually I don't feel like playing them and I play L4D or TF2 or something.
