this is my 1001 comments and level 3 celebration giveaway. It is for five copies of Jerry McPartlin - Rebel with a Cause

• HINT 2: check the bold numbers 
• HINT 3: all roads lead to Rome, but does q178l lead to the giveaway?
• HINT 4: the first part of HINT 3 is a bonus hint for the picture and the second part will lead you to the GA if you change it
• HINT 5: the picture tells you the way to get the code and the numbers how far you gotta go
• HINT 6: there is a hidden hint somewhere

Here is a step by step solution guide:

1. use the caesar cipher
2. subtract the given numbers (use 1001 or 3) from the actual numbers (use 1000 or 2 respectively), the result is the same -1
3. the result provides the direction ('+' = forwards,' -' = backwards) and by how much you have to shift the code 'q178l'
   • Example: if the result was '+3', then 'q' => 't' and '1' => '4' and so on...
4. now enter that code in the link: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX/

To be honest I am a tiny bit disappointed that only 4 people got the puzzle up until now (first one got it without any hints after only 3 minutes of me posting this puzzle, so it couldn't have been that hard) even though I posted 6 hints (actually 8 hints: two more were not too much hidden behind hint 1 and 2) but I had fun creating this puzzle and that's all that matters :)
