Not sure about it being 0 CV now, I would think not. Games given directly via Steam have no key to giveaway, so I think it keeps CV. Someone will probably clarify this.

Yeah, you're right. No copies or keys given out that you could pass on to others, just claim for free on Steam. Should keep its CV, but here on SG you never know...

Im curious about if those temporary free games gives you +1 and count towards collector badges etc.
Is somebody here who knows for sure?
Im considering to add it, but if i wont be able to use this game for my showcase and it wont count for my achievements counter etc i think i will just skip it. Might sound weird for some of you but thats me :D

Pretty sure that badges are independent from game licenses, you can even craft badges from games you don't own.
And I'm not quite sure about the +1, maybe they changed it at some point but they used to count if the game itself counts. The limited packs used to be all about disabling card drops and nothing more.

Yes, you can, I have just tried it. I don't know about the achievements but in theory the only restriction of free games are disabled card drops AFAIK.
