So since EA has started their own online store and exclusivity to all EA published titles on the store.
Will this website soon be allowed to giveaway Origin based game, like BF3, Simcity etc etc...

No, the website is focused on Steam games, only.
Although, i find it funny how earlier you could giveaway Minecraft, but still, it won't happen.
Maybe you can find a website that giveaways such games.

Minecraft and Battlefield 3 used to be whitelisted and okay to give away on this site. Not sure if it's still allowed or not though, since I can't find it in the FAQ anymore

No. Also Origin has existed for a long time now, under a different name before however.

I don't think so.
Because of the Privacy Politics of EA,the same happens on Raptr(it's a gaming social network, where you speak about different games...),so in Raptr they analise your profile of different communities (PSN,XBOX LIVE,STEAM,Origin),but not EA,because they just don't allow it.

Thanks for the quick replies and yes I do know it is called STEAMgifts, but the option could be nice too, a suggestion at least.

I wouldn't mind seeing it being created, or added here, just as long as it's clear what platform the games are for and that I can filter all the Origin games away :P

Battlefield 3 is an old exception due to popularity but no we will not allow other origin games in the near future.

I had thought Mass Effect 3 was another exception, but I just looked and didn't see it in the list, guess I was mistaken.

I can't understand all these people saying that it is a horrible idea. A free game is a free game. I would be happy if i won Dead Space 3, BF3, Mass Effect 3 and other games that are available at origin. Origin sucks, its games don't.
