Install SteamGifts Plus, add the "offending" games to your filter, and viola, your woes will be at an end...

Why don't you just get these games yourself, put them on your account, and then sync your account? I haven't seen any of these since the first day that SG came back from it's downtime. In addition, yeah, the CV argument is invalid due to how this site works with bundle games. Anyways, if you don't like seeing them, the simple solution is just to own the games yourself and sync your account. You still get all the lovely lovely points from people submitting, which I'm happy about being able to enter quite a number of GAs here due to HOB submissions.

Because I have them all on Origin.
I'm going to try out the Steamgifts Plus now. Thanks posters.

I think SG should start banning people who giveaway games that some people already have!

I can't be the only one who gets physically sick when he reads the words "does anyone else", "am I the only one" and "I can't be the only one"

Actually.. funny enough if the bundle would still be around when I get my money I would have bought a bundle for my brother.. :( but sadly it will be over before that so :P
As for the OP's "Problem" .. if you added those games to your account I would just say simply turn the filter on.. but.. what other people suggested works too :P ( More so since you did not add them to steam account )

If I had $40 to give away, I'd rather give more games out to more people than just get one new game to one person... who might not appreciate it at all ... so I like it when games go on sale, personally.

Seriously? "Wah, people are giving away a bunch of games I don't want and they're in the way of me trying to get what I want!" I usually don't go in for condescension but OP, that is low. There are people who are entering these giveaways and the winners are happy to win. I could understand a thread asking for a way to filter them (although you got the answer to that anyways) but a thread just complaining about the giveaways themselves is really just... low.

I get that beggars can't be choosers, and maybe I shouldn't complain about someone giving out free stuff. Still, it is fairly bothersome when the vast majority of the games up on Steamgifts are all Mirror's Edge or various other EA games. Of course, people are going to keep making giveaways for them because you can gift about $150 worth of games for a dollar, making for an easy way towards contributor status. I'm ready for the Origin Bundle to end.
