I think in this case they forgot to include those countries in the initial gift link notification and they added it later when they realized their mistake. My screenshot is from immediately after launch.
The LATAM sub lists them anyway, and hasn't been modified lately, so I don't think it's a case of Mexico (and the other missing countries) receiving ROW keys initially and them being switched to region-locked subs later. But with Humble Bundle anything is possible.

There's another difference, Mexico can activate this key while ROW key can't.

Are you basing your statement on the gift link notification or is your key actually region locked and you tried redeeming it on a Steam account outside your region?

I tried to log out and gift it to myself with the coupon code applied, however sadly I got a notice saying "invalid coupon"
And couldn't proceed with adding another 12 months to my account.

It's very repetitive and it requires some creativity to have fun. Materials are bought in an online store from a tablet and immediately delivered

It's relaxing, but quite simplistic. Pick correct tool to clean/fix things, sell unwanted items, buy the required items, place in the rooms they asked for. Buy paint, and paint the rooms the wanted colour. Knock down unwanted interior walls, build new ones.

For the "sandbox" part of the game when you aren't just doing renovations and freelance work, you have the same options. You can build new walls only inside the house, the external walls are fixed. I'm a bit unsure with recent DLCs, but I doubt you can build floors, or add stairs. Overall it had the feeling of either the engine/setting can't handle fundamental changes, or the devs are monopolizing these features to sell current and future DLCs.
(You can get various items in the workshop, but afaik you can't get new houses and cleaning/renovation "missions", they only come with the DLCs)

Last year I got an email directed towards Premium as well despite me having Classic. I contacted support regarding the matter and was given a coupon for classic. I did have to get the ticket escalated though and show proof that I indeed got the email.

Regarding getting charged: no, you get charged per month, but you lose the coupon if you decide to pause or cancel (yes, pause also counts). Either way, you aren't really going to get a better deal, period, so consider not pausing even if you don't really like most games. At worst you can trade them or make GAs for some CV.

I'm after getting the coupon too which is totally random. It says "Classic" on the coupon, so you keep the plan. I've just redeemed it, no problems. Clicking on the coupon itself takes to to the wrong page, so I do get why it's confusing, but paying for the bundle just deducts the 6 dollars.

So, unpause, then go to claim one of the games, the payment option will appear in a box like normal, but with the discount. Happy out.

It was similar last time they had the $6 thing. Everything is advertised like it's for premium in emails, but the coupon itself in your account will fit to what you have (whether that be classic or premium).

I guess they don't mention Classic since it might confuse new people who might be looking for it when it only exists if your a long time subscriber.

Don't click on the coupon, just go to pay for the bundle and it will deduct the 6 dollars before you confirm payment.
