How long does the "One of your giveaways have ended." banner stay for?

The giveaway is marked as received, is there something I need to do to make the banner go away, or does it just hang about for a week or something?

It turns out I'd been opening that link in a new tab instead of left clicking on it, and opening it in a new tab just re-opens the page. Now I know!
