are they shitting me with this 4gig of vram on recommended?

Nah, but they are obviously not intelligent enough to optimize their engines :) Probably they still have some battlefield skins loaded into the VRAM :D

Played all maps and modes already (both sides), it's nice but I'm not gonna pay more than 30€ even though I love Star Wars and Battlefront A LOT.
Also it runs perfectly for me, except the sound keeps clicking and the game freezes for a few ms after it ended when you get your XP awarded.

yeah, no. Starting to wonder whether or not I should build a new rig or just say the heck with it and get a PS4. Running an Nvidia 470 and Phenom II X6 1055T. Won't be able to play this game, couldn't play the newest Batman game and most likely will not be able to play Fallout 4. FO4 is the big one that I actually care the most about. I got the 16GB of RAM but I'm not gonna scrap my current rig just to save on the price of RAM, a case, and a BluRay drive. Damn. Money IS an issue so I'm kinda lost here. Haven't owned a console for awhile and really don't want one because I hate having to go out and buy physical copies of games which are always way too expensive. I'm a PC gamer through and through but I just don't think I have the scratch to build something that's gonna run this game or FO4.

Just saw that it also runs smoothly for me on medium settings. Lol. Same as in the Rainbow6 Beta: As long as textures are not on "high", everything is alright.

Yay! My PC can run it at max! :D
Mmm need to upgrade my ram...

Don't know whats better of a GTX 660 or 570, but a 570 can play it fine.
