[Contest] Fast Typing

A lot of world record breakers in the contest.

I do not believe the top people... 217 c'mon.

Actually, it is common for secretaries to type at 200 WPM. In fact, a man called Cortez Peters Jr. has the record at 225 WPM. I should know. When I was in school, they made me train using his methods. Worst year of my life.

Apparently if you don't allow cookies... this happens.

so the cheaters need to cheat under 150? sounds great....

recorded world records are not truly the world records for alot of things, its only the highest witnessed and recorded.

not going to enter, since I top out at 145 WPM and will likely be called a cheat if I hit that(and its for bundle games anyways)

Well that's nice, even though I don't type nearly as much as I used too I'm faster now than I was in school. In school I would average about 90 or so WPM but according to whatever the site is I averaged around 114.

Though I will say, I hate typing random words, the flow is all screwed up.

The world record is NOT 163WPM. Not anywhere near that close. It's hard to find the current world record, but 190wpm+ is not that uncommon. If you go to typeracer.com and look at the fastest typists, most of them have gotten over 200wpm on their last 10 races. This website uses captchas if you go too fast, requiring you to reproduce the speed while typing a long captcha so you can't cheat. Many people can type over 200wpm, you just need good hands and a good keyboard.

Personally, the fastest I've typed is 148WPM with 100% accuracy - on a cheap $15 keyboard. It's well known that proper usage of a mechanical keyboard can increase your typing speed and accuracy. I'm getting my mechanical keyboard today :). Here's my WPM record from typeracer.com.

I just woke up, so my 10fastfingers result is less then it normally is. If I kept trying, it would easily soar over 130, 140wpm. Clicky.

I think there should be a category for 2-fingered typers, lol. I got 72 wpm

What about a game where you need to type words to kill zombies?

how does beating the world record count has a cheat maybe we are just better or have a lot of luck at it!

I know this is 4 months old but this is misinformation. The fastest typer in the world ATM Sean Wrona types an average of 200 WPM. Myself, and several other people who stream consistently break 150-160 WPM. In this easy test I am confident I could get 175.
