A game just comes out and they sell a Season pass half price of the full game the day of the release?
It's becoming way to commun, i guess people are buying these then. Why would you pay 30$ for a few additional weapons that could've been implemented on the main game since the 2 are released the same day?

I don't mind buying DLC a few months after the game release to add more content if the game was and is still succesful to satisfy your fans until the next release of your next game (and it helps the companies to keep income coming a bit longer a win/win situation). But why on earth would you pay 90$ for something that should've been 60$ right from the start?

Are customers only cows to milk? What's the next step? Buy 1/3 of the game for 60$, another third for 30$ or a bundle of the 2 missing third for 45$? Better yet, buy this game at 60$ to get the jump button DLC and reload DLC spend 10 bucks on each since you didn't pre-order our game.....

Piracy kills video game industry my ass. Studio doing that kind of stunt are killing the video game industry.

Shameless greed.
And why wouldn't they do it when gamers are happily throwing money at everything they release, no matter how expensive or ridiculous it is.

Additional campaigns, huh? I was displeased about this too, but I yielded this time and bought them, though I still don't know if I am happy with that. If they don't pay back in drops I'm not falling for this bs again.

I somewhat agree, though the Season pass content is never fully released on the same day as the main game.

There are games though that regularly get new free content, like Payday 2 (even though they have tons of DLCs too), Goat Simulator (they could've just stopped adding content, but they didn't), Witcher and more.

the original idea was that a season pass would cover all DLC releases, though it's a risky thing these days considering for the price of it, you might not get the full worth of DLC.

Its quite clever, actually. Gamers are suckers and very poor consumers, but the one thing they consistently push back at is the idea of retail game prices going up. MSRP going over $60 is just something they can't handle, so publishers have tricked consumers into buying the base game for $60 and then the Season Pass for another $30. And then even when they put them both on sale, they can still get $65 ($50 & $15) for their $60 game. Brilliant!
