Is anybody here good with Java OpenGL/Eclipse?

I need a little help finishing coding something small and I'm thinking of rewarding whoever helps me with a game of their choice between 5 and 10 bucks (considering what needs to be done I think this is quite a good reward).

Comment if you're interested.
I'll add you, and we can talk.

Thanks. ~

My Java's a bit rusty but I may be able to help, especially if it's a fairly small program

Would you know how to work with Eclipse?

I know some C++ and DirectX (as well as some rusty Java). Not what you asked about, but the theory might be similar.

I may be able to help, depending on what it is that needs to be done. I don't have experience with OpenGL but I dev for Android.

I may help too, but knowing a bit more about the nature of the task and especially the schedule would be nice.

24th of January.

This is what I got so far. Link one. Link two.

Sorry, I was tracking this tab for 2-3 days, and afterwards encountered it again just now. However I can not access those dropbox links.
Added you on Steam.
EDIT: it was rejected apparently.

Didn't have time to check SG the past two days and I usually get random requests on Steam, I didn't assume it was from here. I'm sorry I rejected your request! I'll add you shortly.

Enable the links to be viewed by the public (somewhere in link creation) or at least post the basics of the question here.

Just found this now. I know it's been a week, but if you still need help, I know Java (not an expert), and I develop for Android. Didn't work with OpenGL, but will gladly help if it's not too much. And no reward needed. :P I think it's a good opportunity to learn something little, but new, and help a fellow programmer.

Well, I got my project on Dropbox with the program and everything, if you feel like giving it a try. ^^
It's for the end of January so yeah there's still time. :)

Maybe Coezo's addition "shadowed" my comment above (actually that was bumping the thread so he could find it), but those dropbox links do not work, at least not for me (regardless of being signed in or not).
I am no big dropbox user, but the example links provided on https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/201 look very different.

Sorry about that. :P

And, yes, I saw the dropbox links, and they don't work here either.

I did share it via Dropbox but it's suddenly not working for me either. O_o
Well, here and here.
I'll add you.

Seem like screenshots of JOGL code in Eclipse.

you can't make static imports with jogl so it's lwjgl.

I could not understand this reasoning (Gogiii's)
While yesterday I was just looking at GLUquadric, today I noticed DefaultGLWindow (the class extended on the first screenshot). A search for it leads to some library/framework/wrapper on GitHub, https://github.com/lflobo/compgraf/blob/master/src/main/java/pt/ipb/esact/compgraf/tools/DefaultGLWindow.java
As a framework, it could wrap anything in fact, but based on the numerous javax.media.opengl imports, it seems JOGL. An other search about lwjgl indicates that it has ...util.glu.Quadric class instead.
It is still true that there is lwjgl reference in that project on GitHub (lwjgl.pom.xml in the root), but it is beyond me how you noticed it from the screenshots.

Yep, you right, that's jogl.
I didn't expected someone being mad enough to make GLUTWrapper/GL2Wrapper crap while lwjgl allows single static import for this.

Some of the source code discussed a few lines above comes from IPB, ESACT in particular, http://www.esact.ipb.pt/

What kind of game is it?
Does it feature Commissars going around BlAM'ING HERETICS and chopping people up with CHAINSWORDS?
If not why not?

Just curious about the game, cannot really help.

well, perhaps just explain the nature your problem.

you can share the code snipplet with the problem via pastebin or so, probably no need to share the whole project

my java is a bit rusty, but i have quite some experience regarding 3d stuff as well as some basic opengl.
