WotR issue

Sup, I just downloaded WotR, and when I'm trying to run it, it launch for few seconds and crash (no windows are shown for me). Anyone knows what is happening and how can I fix it? When I tried to launch beta, it crashed as well.
Yes, I have DX10 and Win Vista.

It may be your CPU and/or OS. You may want to see if it works on another computer.

i have the same problem, but with Stronghold 3. Downloaded yesterday and it does not work:
starting->small black screen in upper left corner of monitor-> "Stronghold 3 does not work anymore"

my PC is only 2 months old and pretty good: intel I5 3570, NVIDIA GTX 560 TI, Asus P8H77-V mainboard...

is it a steam problem?
