Guys, a question regarding steam trading cards
I'm exchanging a few cards for a game with a guy. Say he's asking 2 usd worth cards for this game. He sent a trade for my cards which are worth 3 usd but if I choose to sell the cards instead, the cards will give me 2. Is that a fair trade? This is the first time I'm doing this and not sure if I should go for the selling price or the after-steam-tax price.
Grateful for any answers

I think you should go for the price after the tax, since the guy isn't receiving the selling price. I'd say it's pretty fair, but it depends on which game you're trading for as well (sometimes you might be able to get the game for a cheaper offer).

Depends on sellers, honestly. I usually go for the average between the listed market price and the price after fees. (Or, in other words, I let the other person keep half of the theoretical fees.)
Some calculate strictly by market prices, some strictly with prices after fees. It all depends on what you previously agree upon, although the default in my experience is full market price (with fees).
Just always make sure to use Steam Inventory Expert to check the traded amounts.

The current ones are for closed groups, and the invite-only running giveaways are placed in very obvious threads on the forum. I am not the administrator of any of those closed groups, nor I plan to be.
As for which of my groups are public… I am a member of 20 in total, so it is not so difficult to check. ^_^ I do the occasional giveaway for all of my public ones except Group Buys. (Still, 67% of my giveaways are fully public and most often level 0.)
