Even if that may be true, i like to think that some people are just really grateful! ^_^

Maybe that's true for you, but not for everyone...

Some people are genuinely grateful for the opportunity to win a game, and consider it good manners to say so :)

Not for me! I really do appreciate the chance to win a game, and I couldn't care less about my post count. If I cared about post count I'd write a quick "ty" on every giveaway that I enter, instead of sometimes writing a more complex "Thank you for ____ and ____" if I enter multiple giveaways that were made by the same person.

Of course I do forget thank the gifter sometimes. I'll enter a giveaway and go to say thank you, and get distracted by something like my dogs needing to go out, and come back an hour after the giveaway has ended. lol

I usually go with a formula like "Thank you for being so generous and giving this game to one of us!" hoping that the giver will realize what's expected of him. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't expect that much.
