Childhood Games

I remember my parents bought me the original playstation with a racing game called 4x4, some looney tunes game and mortal kombat trilogy when I was 5. MK was my fav.

My very first game was Battle Chess, which I played in 1995-ish. The games that I remember are Sam & Max: Hit the Road, Quarantine II, StarCraft, Commander Keen, Settlers, Jazz Jackrabbit and Diggers.
Also a fun game that I can't remember which is in style of more recent MarioCart, but had animals instead.
Edit: How did I forget Theme Hospital, Raptor, The Lost Vikings and Colonization?!
Also, a bunch of CD32 Games (Diggers were one of those, as was the one I can't remember the name of) -- and Oswald (I think was the name; You're an icebear, make it to the end of the level by not falling into the water while jumping from).

Nethack. We also raced snails for fun.

Duke Nukem 3D

Amstrad CPC & Amiga: Ikari Warriors, Elite, Frontier Elite II, Cybernoid, R-Type, Arcanoid, Cabal, Shinobi, Turrican, Superfrog, Shadow of the Beast, It came from the Desert, Monkey Island and so on.

PS1: Spyro, Silent Hill, Mortal Kombat trilogy, Dino Crisis 1-2, Syphon Filter, Tony Hawk 4.
PC: Capitan Claw, Max Payne, Serious Sam.

diablo 2, skies of arcadia legends, pokemon, civ 4, warcraft 2, civilization call to power, oblivion, sacred gold

Mario Brothers, Pacman, Tetris, Donkey Kong, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, the original Duke Nukems, Commander Keen. Yano, the classics.

guys... these games are my childhood !!!
Croc - Legend of Gobbos, Dino Crisis 1, Brave Fencer Musashi, Bugs Bunny - Lost in Time, Chocobo Racing, Future Cop, Herc`s Adventures, Metal Gear Solid, Alundra 1 & 2.
and i can go on and on.. n_n

The first game that I can remember playing wasthe "Duck Hunt" on the NES (or SNES) That dog.. -.-

Then I remember playing on the PSx at my friends house, we played some Spiderman game :D

Then came the PS2, many, many games Jak and Daxter and Deatroy all Humas were my favouirte games on it :D

And them the PS3 (add me if you want : Bartix1234), quite a few awesome games, Destroy all Humans<3 I dont know why but I just love that game ^u^

And now I mainly play on PC.. lonely.. as many of my friemds are Console Gamers and dont have a PC or theirs just cant handle the games ;-;

And this was story time with Pixelated.

LEGO.

I never had console, so played these at friends.
NES: Megaman, Duck Hunt (others too, don't remember)
SNES: Donkey Kong Country

PC: Carmageddon, Duke Nukem (1,2,3D), Age of Empires, Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Command & Conquer, Redalert, Commandos, Settlers, Starcraft, Commander Keen, Total Annihilation, Metal Fatique, Civilization, Doom, Wolfestein, Half-Life, The Sims, 7th Legion, Transport Tycoon, Warcraft.

Probably alot more too. Many were copied from friends too (No protections were used back then or easy to skip)

I played a lot of Super Mario Bros. and Contra on the NES. Hmm what else..? Oh, I also played Battle City, Ice Climber, Penguin Adventure, Joust, Lifeforce, Jackal, and Gun Smoke. (Never managed to finish any of them unfortunately.) All on the NES. There was also a Metal Gear Solid, but since I was young I didn't really adjust to that kind of gameplay :D Oh, and also I tried Duck Hunt, but either my aiming was terrible or the gun controller was wonky and I kept missing those ducks. >..<

Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 for NES (when I was really young).

Then when I got a Sega and SNES it was Gunstar Heroes (Sega), the 3 Donkey Kong Country games, and Super Mario RPG (still one of the best RPG's I've played).

Pokemon (esp. Yellow Version). Vice City. .hack//. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Halo: CE. Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. Kirby's Adventure. Super Mario World. Super Mario Bros. 3. The Sims (for PS2). and Shadow of the Colossus.

I guess those were the truly defining games of my childhood.

My very first pc games was: Shannara

Toejam & Earl (sega first co-op campaign game i played), Buck Rogers (sega), Maniac Mansion (nes)

Ok, here's my childhood games:

• Carmageddon 1 (this one was unninstalled by my father because he said it was too violent for me in that kind of age. After like 1 year or more playing that he did it. One of the worst days of my life lol. But i don't judge him, watching his 8-9 years old son running people / cows over in a videogame is not that nice. I would probably do the same thing actually lol)

• Hocus Pocus (awesome game, used to play this with my brother all the time)

• Tomb Raider's (the first ones, locking Winston in the freezer ahahahaha)

• Grim Fandango

• Abe's Exxodus

• Have more, but can't remember right now.

Lost Vikings, Wolfenstein (the first one), Need for Speed 2

I had a whole black garbage bag full of Nintendo games, so basically all of them were awsome. But then i got computer and i spent a lot of hours playing games like Doom 1/2, Heretic, Wolfenstein 3D, GTA, Liero, Supaplex, Duke Nukem 3D and my favorite System Shock 2.

EDIT: Also Jak + Daxter 1, excellent game.

Jazz Jackrabbit, Descent, Supaplex, Dune 2 and some Heretic. Jazz Jackrabbit most often, but Dune 2 will always hold a place in my heart as my first video game.
