This is a pretty cool idea. Will see about what I can do~

I've entered 13. Though 10 of them I'm using to to store points in as I'm over flowing. I hope that's okay. I'll leave them before the giveaway ends. (Or if you'd rather me leave them now) but I'm still going to try to do the 13 weeks. At the very least 3. It's not that hard in my line of work though.
Also, please let me know if this is okay.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. :) I love the idea of doing small acts of kindness that add up.
I used to volunteer and took part in helping community events fairly often. Since having health issues and being physically unable to leave the house (or even bed) most days I've been frustrated and a bit disheartened that I don't help anymore. So I try do small things around the house when I'm able, leave nice comments to people online more often, donate, etc..trying to acknowledge that it's ok if I can't physically help as much as I used to, that small things matter too.

It's a nice thought. I just wish that that sort of thing were something more people would consider doing just in general during the day. Too many people in the world are just plain foul so you don't too often see a lot of general kindness going around. But then I'm normally a cynical prick so meh.
As a side note. Does being kind to animals count in your wishes? I'm generally far better at that than with people. I lack enough decent social skills to do stuff with most peopls so I used to spend most my free time volunteering at a veterninary clinic instead.

But I already spend way too much time compulsively "helping" others as much as I can even when I seriously should be doing something else. I cannot stop myself from holding doors open for people, giving everyone way when on the street, offering my flatmates food all the time and offering anyone who happens to be at the computer labs at the same time as me the sweets that I'm supposed to be using to keep myself awake late at night. It's even worse if someone is depressed and I try to talk to them- it feels like I'm taking in their depression as my own (and I have plenty of that as is)... It sucks! Compassion won't get me anywhere in the world! All it did was make me a depressed wreck... <.<
...
... Wait, what were we talking about?
Um... anyway, thank you very much for the giveaways. :D

Pay it Forward
I've been kicking around a thought in my head for quite a while now, and here's the end result. Before you, is a table of GA's. Trains are overrated. So much clicking, and you never know what you're getting yourself into. I'mma bring the table into the mainstream for the benefit of all I tell you what
For each GA you enter, you will commit to a week of small generosities. That is, a minimum of once a day, you will go out of your way to help somebody else. It doesn't have to cost much, nor involve much effort or time. You could buy the coffee for the person behind you in line, bring home flowers for your significant other for no particular reason, or just be there to talk when somebody is down, particularly if you might not have otherwise. I ask that you fully commit to these tasks. Go ahead and mark it on your calendar, don't push it to the back of your mind, particularly if you're the type to say "I do that already", even if you do. There's always that little bit extra you could be doing. With luck, a small act of kindness can propagate forward, and with enough of them, can change the world. Be what changed the world. Tell nobody you don't have to that you did these things. Humility is an attribute there is far too little of in this world.
For each GA you WIN, I'm asking that you pay it forward in two occasions/two people in some relatively significant fashion. Helping for a day at your local food shelter, choose to be late for work and assist the stranded motorist by the highway instead or driving by, whatever floats your boat. Instead of taking any reward for these actions yourself should they be offered, instead insist that the receiver then pay it forward to somebody else instead, at their own time and ability.
Now, I know, there are some of you thinking "but the Guidelines says
I know. I obviously have no way of checking whether an entrant has completed these tasks, nor do I have any desire to. I will send the keys no matter what, nor will I blacklist them upon somehow discovering they completed nothing.
If somebody else wishes to post their own GA as you guys are wont to do. It's not expected however, I will update my table once a week. I will close the thread when my last GA ends, unless others have been added. After all, we are never alone
Big Batch GA's sent. Re-rolls incoming shortly.
