Tf2 Premium Problem

My friend had just bought 2 mann co. keys inorder to become a premium user, yet he did not get the mann co. cap nor he is able to trade any of his other stuff.
Is that a problem or will he be able to trade as soon as the keys become tradeable?

His account might be on probation. If it's been the first purchase he makes or something like that he'll have to wait. Also your friend sounds like your alt idling account :p

From where he bought the keys? If he bought from the market, it won't work. You need to buy something inside the game.

I don't use an idling acount he just asked for my help :)
He bought the keys from the mann co. store.
What do you mean by probation? Is it like the servers did not updated yet?

I mean that if it's been a while since his last purchase or something like that he won't be able to trade. Also I think that keys have now a month delay or something like that.

If this is his first purchase, or he has only just turned on Steamguard, there will be a 15 day cooldown before he can trade with other users.
