Hm... from one side they doing a good thing by granting access to all these courses for free.
On the other I've noticed some strange behaviour there. Have you noticed that after adding multiple items to buy one of them ends up as paid for ~$10 even though you were sure everything you added were free? Nope, it's actually free, but for some reason still listed as paid. Remove it and the rest is free to get. However, when you return back to previously removed item you'll see that it's indeed listed as not free even though you were sure it were free when you added it. Close all Udemy pages, open that once again and SURPRISE! It's actually free and you can add it to cart and take for free.

Yeah, I ran into some rather buggy issues with their cart, I would recommend avoiding use of their shopping cart if you can. Sometimes it would show as ~$10, sometimes ~$20 or more depending, it seemed, on the number of items in the cart. You could sometimes manually add the missing coupon codes to the cart to adjust the total and sometimes they wouldn't add and it would just hang there with the spinning icon. It got so bad it wouldn' t even let me remove items from the cart. I was befuddled by the behavior and perhaps slightly amused at the irony of the situation.
If you're on the course page with the coupon already applied indicating the course is free, I would recommend just clicking on "Enroll now" instead of "Add to cart." You can avoid the cart and the course is ready to go in your course list--it's probably also faster that way.

Considering each following addition into cart takes about 1.5x more time and all the bugs with coupons that might be very true. Adding over 10 items there... that doesn't work as a good advertisement for IT courses they sell.

from my experience, stackoverflow along with the official documentation of the language is the best way to make progress

Yes, that's right, codes for courses from Ebine dies very quickly and there is nothing I can.do about that, sadly. From other hand courses from this particular instructor are at least few times per month.
Only think I can recommend you is checking this thread at least once per day (you can see in title when I updated thread).
Once again all suggestion how to improve this thread are very welcome!

Udemy always just seems like a cesspool of people trying to make money. I have better luck choosing the free/audit options on edx, Yale Open Courses, Coursera, Future Learn, etc.

Yes, you read this right, Since I'm lazy as hell, I thought I shall create userscript which will help check which links are still valid*.
Here is script and here is how it looks
red -- expired / date is wrong (there is issue with those without time at the end, they will be removed soon, so i don't care xd)
orange -- will end in less than one hour, hurry up!
yellow -- between 1 hour and 12 hours left
* There can be other things which can mess up this:
-> author of course disabled promotion
-> coupon usage limit excedeed
-> Cthulhu messed something up
