Well even the best services have down times, but i assume you are venting because it is effecting a game you want to play.
You could always do what the guy is doing in the image you posted to pass the time while you wait for Uplay to come alive.

It's pretty funny, since when I tried to log in, it said: You can't login, because one or more Uplay services are down. However, when I just tried to run The Division from the Desktop, it logged in, and it's now downloading the update :D
So you can try opening the game you want to play directly from the .exe file.

I'm sure the game services linking to uPlay are fine, but accessing uPlay directly is down. Imagine a road system where the main road is under construction, but the alternative roads are fine and lead to the same destination.

Better than Origin? First time I hear that. I am among those who think Origin evolved a lot and as a gaming-only client is on par (or surpasses) Steam, but I don't recall anyone saying before that UPlay can even be on the same league. Origin, yes, Galaxy, yes, but strangely never about UPlay. (or Rockstar Social, but that's not exactly a client.)

I try to be neutral, but both Origin and Uplay have problems with downloading my games to my Windows XP computer, Origin is even "better"-after going to 99% it crashes-send them crash raports many time, no fix till today. Steam is usually not answering on topics, but at least they are answering...

Mhhh..maybe Win XP is here your real problem.Outdated BS without security fixes & updates.

Well,it's your risk.In my humble opinion you are playing with a "timebomb". For Offline mode & older games ok but you should never ever use Win XP connected to web/internet.

Maybe it would run, but yes computer is dated- around 10 years old, running on old IDE hard drives. I don't have cash for new OS, and I don't want to install not legal or legally questionable OS. Then I'll have a money I would much rather add that 50-100$ and buy myself new, used computer with new OS instead.

Is down again.
What a squeaking sackful of dog nuggets.
Hope Ubisoft's CEO contracts an egregious case of cockrot.
That is all.
