Sorry about that. I had originally written everything more nicely formatted, but when I actually posted, my formatting seemed to poof. Fixed it.

You should check out some of the stories I write. I'm quite a pro with paragraph breaks.

I too have had trouble with Airborne and Allied Assault. I couldn't get them installed and with Airborne my pc couldn't even read the disk. Pacific Assault works fine though.

I've pretty much gotten everything working except Airborne. Funnily enough, the disk works fine in another computer. Strange...

Dude please make this whole chunk of words easier to read by writing in paragraphs. Add 2 spaces after the full stop and press enter to start a new line. So make our lives easier will ya?
You probably won't get Pacific Assault on Origin since it is not supported. Allied Assault is however available on Origin if you can get support to add it for you. You will have to download it from the client though, but no cd required to play the game.

Eeh. I don't care about getting PA or AA digitally; those are the ones I actually got to install. It's Airborne that's being a bum.

This reminded me of buying Medal of Honor Allied Assault War Chest back in the day and having one of the expansions not accepting it's serial-key. Apparently, it was a really widespread problem, as I later found out. EA expected me to use postal service to send the entire package to them so they can replace it... What? I'm not even in the same continent, lol.
Pushed me right into the Gaben's warm embrace.

All hail Gaben. We must sacrifice one portal gun, two headcrabs, and a handful of combine for Half-Life 3 to be released.

So I get some money for my birthday, because why not? I really like physical games. Like, really REALLY like them. There are games I own on Steam that I regret never getting physical. So I decided to buy some games off Amazon. One of those was a new copy of Medal of Honor 10th Anniversary. Because game bundle; I'm saving money ye twats.
So, right off the bat, because it's a single DVD, I install Pacific Assault. Update it. Apply a no-cd crack, because I'm too lazy to get out the game disk when I wanna play. I move onto Airborne; the disk drive is making constant noise and the installation doesn't wanna run. Strange.... I move onto Allied Assault. Install it. Try to update it; it complains I don't have a US or UK copy of the game. A sidenote, I thought I had ordered the US version, but it turned out to be UK. I don't really care. Do a quick web search. A small registry edit lets me install the update. Install AA's expansions. Update them. No-cd crack all three. Now I'm done-- Oh wait, Still have Airborne.
I put the DVD back in; still making that weird sound. Doesn't seem to be too happy, because disk reading is very slow. I try running the installation. Still very slow to load. I type up my CD key. Install just closes. Well you must be borked; I let it sit for a day. I finally start doing web searches, and find that I need to uninstall some NVIDIA PHYSX thing. I do that. Put the DVD back in. Deal with its slowness. Hey, the installation actually launched properly! I tell it what to install and where. Now it's actually installing...........very slowly. I think 10 minutes have passed by now. I really hope I beat this disk's game; it is seriously toying with me.
...
Can an inanimate object really defeat me like this?
...
Not if I can help it. I wait a little while longer. Start talking with some people. Maybe I'll go search around EA's site and see if I can contact someone to possibly get a disk replacement. I'd like to have a non-faulty disk in my collection. I decide to do that searching. Find something about 'Contact Us'. I think I'm submitting a ticket, but after logging into my EA/Origin account, I have a few options, including live support. This should be interesting...
Still waiting for an agent to join me in a live chat. Probably been waiting for 40 minutes to an hour for this installation to make progress. Hasn't made any.
Been talking with an EA agent from customer support or something for half an hour now. EA really is full of idiots... He doesn't even fully understand-- I AM LITERALLY EXPLAINING HIS OWN COMPANY'S PRODUCT TO HIM. WHY??? For all I have to put up with, I demand a free copy of Dead Space 2 for compensation!
He's asking for my game codes again; so Airborne wasn't enough? Looking to steal some Allied Assault Breakthrough? You need the base game for that buddy. Hrmm. This activation thing he made me activate Airborne through, which didn't get added to my Origin account by the way, isn't accepting my other game codes. I wonder why...?
Oh. According to Camtasia, this might only have been 40 minutes. Worth noting I finally took the Airborne disk out of my PC; it's not gonna install.
Welp. They can't help me. Guess I'll have to contact the seller on Amazon about this defective game disk sigh I should really just download a 1:1 copy of the retail disk... That's legal, right...?
