EA - The Worst Company of 2013

And which companies are worse? Activision?

and:

“We’ve seen mailing lists that direct people to vote for EA because they disagree with the choice of the cover athlete on Madden NFL,” writes Moore. “Yes, really.”

It's less about the games themselves and more about the developers they buy up, run into the ground, then gut and put out of business. They've never been held accountable for that. There's also that thing where they made $926 million by overcharging people for their sports games (which of course they knocked down to a $27m settlement after the lawsuit sprang up). Furthermore, they're the only company that actually responds to this sort of thing. If Bank of America won, nothing would happen because they don't care. Not only is EA butthurt as all hell about what just happened, their entire defense force is too.

Well actually this document (which is probably fake) is kinda true. There are far worse companies.. yet EA should improve itself and see this a warning sign (well, more like a punishment sign).

After they'll improve, other worse companies actually have a shot to "win" the survey, and raise awareness.

Ever hear of One Million Moms (misleading name for an organization, sure, but Moore's not wrong in that there are whackjobs out there spewing hate at the company due to homophobia)? How about Fox News' reaction to Mass Effect?

Indeed. The title may be "the worst company in America" but everybody could vote and since EA is the most known company it recieved a lot of votes.

Did they learn their lesson from DA2? If no, then who cares?
