I have been a fan of games that has great storyline. Ori and The Blind Forest have great story and I have been watching videos on the gameplay which attracted my attention since September, 2015. Despite watching the videos, I'm still planning to play the game so that i would be able to get the immense feeling while playing this game.(the atmosphere is awesome)

The game is on my wishlist really long time and i really love the genre. You can look at Never Alone i finished it in days after i bought. I am not really playing anything now i would say it will be a good game for me to play. And thanks for sharing my wish when i do a giveaway i always want to give it someone who wants to play. I don't have most of the games i giveaway cause i don't want to play them.

When I saw it was a platformer I knew with my back log I wasn't sure. Then I went and looked at it. What amazing graphics. I can see where you would get lost in playing this and forget to stop too eat. So yes I will play. I play my games. Look at my hours. I play games or read books. :) Either way thanks. For without your thread I may have not known of such a well designed platformer with a good plot line. I think any gamer would play this platformer. Add a good sound track. It s not on my wish list because you introduced me to its existence.

I've heard many great things about it, from friends to even strangers. ^^
I really like platformers, esp with great storylines and nice fitting atmospheric music, seems like Ori and the blind forest is all that. Would love to play it, I've got some time on my hands now should you consider me, I'm up and ready!

I will play it because I like games with great graphics and art, and colorful environment and characters like on Ori, also I saw gameplay of the game and some streams, it's a little challenging so this makes it even more fun, not just a platformer you gonna easily beat at first try without even dying or failing.
I played many platformers on Steam and outside, retro games like Mario for different consoles, retro games on Steam like Fitz the Fox, Angry Videogame Nerd Adventures, etc, even rouge-like ones like Rouge Legacy, then 2.5D platformers like Giana Sisters, Party of Sin, Never Alone, I have beaten Trine 1 once alone then the enhanced edition with my cousin, I have also beaten Trine 2 with DLC twice once with my friend and then with my cousin unlocking practically everything, And I also have Ori on wishlist for a long time already :3

I would binge this so hard. I am currently unemployed and in the middle of moving to another city and could honestly use an escape from the absolute and overwhelming fear of everything.

The first time I heard about this game was during the price glitch where it was 50% off.
I thought about buying it (but only because of the hype). I ended up deciding against it since I didn't know enough about the game.
Then the giveaways started to show up, and that was when I decided to check out the trailer.
The art looks absolutely amazing, and I'm big on platformers too - immediately added it to my wishlist.
Then one day, I was busy working and listening to the Life is Strange soundtrack, and the next play on Youtube decides to play the Ori and the Blind Forest soundtrack.
Holy shit. It blew me away.

Wasn't my intention, but alright.
I just happened to have a short story video that I recorded for my review of the game I did awhile back.
I'm not trying to "grow" my channel. I only use it to upload gameplay videos, which I then put into my reviews.

hahah just kidding - i liked and "liked" the video

Ah, yet another! I'm a big fan of platformers in general- I grew up on Mario above all else and I've played every mainline Mario game from SMB to 3D World, although I haven't beaten them all. But I have two main standards for platformers-- one, smooth gameplay, and two, nice art. Rayman Origins recently blew me away on both counts, and I've heard fantastic things about Ori. If you check my wishlist I'm pretty sure it's been on there since before release, or at least not long after.

My girlfriend and I absolutely adore well made platformer games, and the art style in Ori and The Blind Forest is stunning. I find platformer games very relaxing to have on a 3-4 "game rotation" together with for example a long RPG game, and an RTS, and switch between them depending on what I'm in the mood for. That way, I play platformer games every week. For my girlfriend - platformers are the only kind of game she likes to play.
If you check my SG wins you'll find four platformer games, check them on my Steam profile to find:
LIMBO - 5 hours and most achievements (finished).
Dust: An Elysian Tail - 13 hours and most achievements (finished).
Valiant Hearts - Almost 3 hours, latest played today (I started playing it during the weekend, it's my current platformer game). Loving it!
Fly'n - A little over 1 hour. Lovely game, but I decided to finish Valiant Hearts before continuing with Fly'n, since Valiant Hearts was an earlier win.
So: All SG platformer wins played.
As for my girlfriend, the only one of the above games that was more her style was Fly'n, but she loves the colourful art style in Trine 2 that we have been playing together recently. We're almost finished with it, probably one last session left (we're a bit over 9 hours in) that we will take care of when she's back from working abroad next week - and I know she would love to play Ori and The Blind Forest next. I know I would too.
That was a bit of text, but tl;dr: It will most definitely be played. Not by just one, but two people, who would both love it :)
I've thoroughly checked the very positive reviews for the game and had it on my Steam wishlist since April 3.

This has been on my wishlist since March. I swear I had it before that... So I don't know if I'm making it up in my head or I may have removed it for some reason then re-added it. Although I built my PC in December so of course I wouldn't have it on there for long! But man I've heard amazing things about it, I love games like this so much! The art style is what attracted my attention but hearing about how it has amazing game play and story along with beautiful music makes me want it all the more :3
I know I'm already on your whitelist, but you can obviously remove me since I still have Valiant Hearts to play! (Btw loving it as I said). Just wanted to be fair and comment obviously :3
Just realised Ori came out on the 11th... So ignore the wishlist ramble xD

Maybe... And thats why I want it, I want to see myself stab them! It was one of my first stabs :') Ugh! I know, I just need to play it! Its so beautiful looking, its just my idea of the perfect art for a game. I love the magical looking worlds :3

A friend of mine turned me onto platformers about 2 years ago when he got Rayman Origins for the Xbox 360 and told me to come over to play. We finished that one quickly and then immediately got Rayman Legends and finished that one aswell. Since then we're always looking for platformers and have played games like Battleblock Theater or Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.
What kept me from getting Ori so far is that there's no co-op in it, but since my friend is currently working morning shifts I am looking for a good single player game anyway :)
Also, here's my browser's search history for Ori and the Bling Forest, you can see that I've been tracking the game since April.

A friend of mine told me about it quite a while ago and when I first saw it I just fell in love with the art style and animations. People keep telling me to just pirate it but I don't want to. It's such an amazing game and I would like to have it legally.

oh god, this game looks so amazing. I love platformers and this one seems great and every image of it looks so beautiful. I know I have tons of games on my account but I only enter for games on here that I want to play. I havent played all of them yet but this would be one I would start pretty much immediately ^_^ I think I actually have a bigger problem with finishing games than just playing them, but I can legitimately see this as one of the ones I would play till exhaustion because I couldnt get enough of it.
