The "Greenlight keys I'm waiting for" thread (UPDATE: DLC Quest keys available!)

Hi all, many of us, like me, probably bought many bundles in which some games were not available on Steam at the time, but they were on Greenlight and so we bought them pre-emptively just to get a 'free' Steam key later.

Recently a lot of Greenlight games came out on Steam, so my question is: which released games (GreenLight games that are just approved do not count) are you waiting to get a key?

Since I've been suggested to make a kind of database, I ask to help me to build it saying which games you got where.

Released Greenlight games that give 'free' keys:

  • Waking Mars (The Humble Bundle for Android 4)
  • McPixel (directly from developer)
  • Anodyne (Humble Store)
  • Towns (Alpha Collection #1)
  • Gnomoria (IndieGameStand)
  • No Time to Explain (GamersGate)
  • Kenshi (GamersGate, apparently needs Steam Beta to be activated)
  • DLC Quest (the St. Patrick's Day Bundle, the Chosen Bundle)

Released Greenlight games that WILL (hopefully) give 'free' keys:

  • La-Mulana (Build a Greenlight Bundle)
  • Wake (the Valentines Bundle 2.0)
  • Lunnye Devitsy (the Valentines Bundle 2.0)

Greenlit games that were in a bundle:

  • Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded (Build a Greenlight Bundle)
  • Unepic (The July Jubilee Bundle)
  • Dawn of Fantasy (Green Light Bundle 2, Be Mine 6)
  • Perpetuum (Green Light Bundle 2)

My personal lists:

  • La-Mulana (Build a Greenlight Bundle)

Greenlit games I already got this way:

  • Waking Mars (The Humble Bundle for Android 4)
  • McPixel (bought directly from the developer website)
  • Anodyne (Humble Store)
  • DLC Quest (The Chosen Bundle)

Because it is to be put there :p
It has been pushed back a number of times, and should finally get on Steam early April. We'll be able to get steam keys once the game is on the store.

Oh, interesting. I seem to have written myself a reminder to check for a dawn of fantasy steam key on groupees, but I forgot about it... :)

Rawbots isn't available on Steam and I'm not sure they'll give free keys for the copies "bought" with the 100% coupon.
I meant that I searched a correct word on wordreference for "buying in other places for cheap hoping for a Steam key in the future", but maybe it's not the best word I could use :)

The steam keys are already on indiegamestand. They got keys like 3/4hours after the game was released on steam.

This is the "keys I'm waiting for" thread :P And the ops asks the question : "wich released games (GreenLight games that are just approved do not count) are you waiting to get a key?"

So it sounded like you didnt had the key yet and you were waiting on them.

I've bought "Project Zomboid" just after it was greenlit. Since then they are working on the new update which is far from the steam release. It's really good right now and will be great with the new update but developing process is going so slow I don't know when is it going to be released for steam. Probably developers don't know too :)
Edit: Oh, you said bundle games. Didn't realize sorry :)

Not bundle but usually you buy a bundle because they promise you a Steam key :P or at least that's what I do

I was going to make a thread like this. Good job man! Make sure you'll be updating the list constantly :)

You can add to the list Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space which was in the Indie Royale May Hurray Bundle and got Steam keys later.

Also you can add The Journey Down: Chapter One which was in Indie Royale Summer Bundle and got Steam keys later.

Yeah, it's be awesome. It's be like a database of keys you can get that were previously unavailable in those bundles. So no one would omit any :)

2 La-Mulana keys and Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, all from the Build a Greenlight Bundle. I got the Waking Mars key the very day it released on Steam. May be more, so I'll have to double check.

  1. Kenshi (bought on the developers website)
  2. Dawn of Fantasy (developer gave me two keys to test the game)
  3. Postal (from Indie Gala 2)
  4. DLC Quest (from Indie Royale St. Patrick's Day)

Kenshi works for me, i have it on gamersgate from the indiefort bundle.
And yes its a 66 digit key and it works on steam.

Works for me. I think it's safe to add Kenshi from GamersGate IndieFort Bundle #1.

Note: You may need to go into Steam Beta to redeem it.
