Easy. Name 1, pick 1 and watch it. Can be a classic, and indie movie, a short film or your favorite movie.

I really think that everyone should watch Fight Club. A life-changing film.

Now its YOUR turn.

Apocalypse Now -- a film a lot of younger people haven't seen yet, but simply amazing all around. Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando are electrifying.

Sherlock Holmes, the one with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. My favorite movie.

Its just amazing, the story, characters, dialogues, atmosphere, actors, visuals, effects, sound, everything...

Honorable mentions:
I am Legend
The Sting
The Dark Knight

LOL, it's one of the worst, most inaccurate and downright dumb representations of a literary character in human history. Just read a single Sherlock Holmes short story/novella and you'll see how utterly shit it is.

Ive read many of them, I really like Sherlock Holmes, now I mean the original one from sir Arthur Conan Doyle and yeah, the Sherlock from the books is someone totally different than the Sherlock from this movie. But try to wach it and dont compare him with the literary one the whole time. Try to watch it and take it like it wasnt the Sherlock Holmes from books, like it was another alternate Holmes, who is totally different and... I just like the movie. You dont? Ok, dont do.

In my opinion, stick with 1 through 3 mainly, I think even the third is freaking great. The fourth, while perhaps more focused than the third, feels like no more than an imitation of Verbinski throughout.

1-3 though I will swear by,

Really interesting book, too. The twist seems a bit more shocking in the movie, although I'll never really know for sure, since I saw the movie prior to reading the book. But the book has a lot of strong indicators about Tyler Durden, so I'm sure I would've completely figured it out ahead of time.

Buster Keaton's One Week. It's only 20 minutes, and if you haven't watched a good silent film it's a great one to start with. You can watch it free on youtube:

Battlestar Galactica:Razor, sure it's a tv movie and sure it's far from great, but it fills in some gaps in the story of the Battlestar Pegasus.
